I recently had my dealer here in Alaska install a snowblower on my JD-4200. This tractor has a mid PTO and mower deck attachment. The mower apparatus interfered with the drive shaft from PTO to snow blower, preventing the shaft from connecting. I was flabbergasted at this design goofup. However my dealer, who has given excellent service, called JD who said it is aware of the problem and is engineering a fix; due next spring. In the meantime, we took off the mower attachment apparatus which allowed the driveshaft to connect to the blower. Apparently the fix will be in a newly designed mower attachment.
